VGC Sandslash

Sandslash is a Pokémon introduced in Generation 1.

Sandslash can be potentially useful on Sand teams, and has decent Defense and Attack, though it's rather slow and very specially frail, with a 55 Special Defense stat making it very frail to common Water- and Ice type moves, which it's weak to.

Sandslash's Ground type gives it a immunity to Electric and valuable resistance to Rock.

• +Sandslash's decent Attack and Defense allow it to work well.
• +Sand Veil can let it survive moves it normally wouldnt.
• +Sandslash is immune to Volt Switch and Thunder Wave.
• -Sandslash has very lackluster Speed without Sand Rush.
• -Its stats and movepool are overall somewhat lacking.
• -Sandslash has a terrible Special Defense, causing it to be worn down insanely fast by its lackluster HP.
