VGC Sandslash Alola

Alolan Sandslash is a Pokémon introduced in Generation 7.

Sandslash can be potentially useful on Snow teams, and has decent Defense and Attack, though it's rather slow and very specially frail. Its typing is absolutely terrible; Steel and Ice leave it vulnerable to being 1-hit KOed by most Fighting and Fire moves. Nevertheless, it can try and work on Snow teams using Slush Rush.

Sandslash's Ice and Steel typing gives it a immunity to Poison, Toxic, the Poison type and cannot be frozen.

• +Sandslash's decent Attack and Defense allow it to work well.
• +Snow Cloak can let it survive moves it normally wouldnt.
• -Sandslash has very lackluster Speed without Slush Rush.
• -Its stats and movepool are overall somewhat lacking.
• -Sandslash has a terrible Special Defense, causing it to be worn down insanely fast by its lackluster HP.
• -Sandslash has a terrible typing that leaves it very frail to Fighting- and Fire-type moves.
